BHDS EARLY INTERVENTION COORDINATOR
The County of Washington Behavioral Health &
Developmental Services Department is hiring an Early
Intervention Coordinator. Starting salary is $42,727.42 with a
generous benefits package. Hours: 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday (rare occasion for evening work), minimal travel.
Responsibilities include: Training and community outreach and education; Help children ages birth to 3 years with developmental concerns receive services free of charge; Administrative role – including monitoring/coordinating the community services for families enrolled in the Early Intervention program; Work closely with Early Intervention providers, community members and families enrolled in the Early Intervention program; Coordinate parent-child interactive meetings/events, along with outreach throughout Washington County; Work closely with Office of Developmental and Early Learning for monitoring and evaluations of the providers of the Early Intervention services in the county.

ID/AUTISM PROGRAM DIRECTOR

Responsibilities: The position is of both an administrative and supervisory nature and involves program planning, analysis, coordination and implementation of ID/Autism services; Oversees the Developmental Services program of BHDS to assure quality compliance with legislative requirements and mandates and studies, analyzes and evaluates community needs and resources; Coordinates the review of data/documents pertinent to the continuation of existing services and the planning/development of new programs ID/Autism; Supervises departmental staff; Responsible for development, submission and implementation of the annual County QM Plan.
Requirements: One (1) year as a County Intellectual Disability Program Specialist; OR five (5) years of professional level experience in the field of intellectual disabilities, including three (3) years of administrative, supervisory, or consultative work; and a bachelor*s degree; OR any equivalent combination of experience and training.
